About the Institution
Pratham was founded in 1995 in Mumbai to provide education to children in slums. Over 25 years, we have grown to reach millions of children across India, becoming one of the largest non-governmental providers of quality education. Our interventions range from pre-school education and learning support programs to vocational training for youth. We work in collaboration with state governments, local communities, and thousands of volunteers to create a movement for learning.
